Energy management system (EMS)
OneBase Hems - Viessmann Energiemanagement
Energy Management displays energy flows in the home in real time on a smartphone or tablet. This includes, for example, the values of self-generated electricity from the photovoltaic system and also self-consumed electricity, for example for operating the heat pump. In particular, Energy Management provides these functions for the heat pumps of the new Vitocal 25x-A series as well as for existing heat pumps with Vitoconnect up to 2016. Conserving resources and saving costs through energy-efficient, optimized operation of all electrical and thermal-electrical energy systems in the home – that is the strength of the new Energy Management system, which is optionally integrated into the new electronics platform and can be made available to customers via the ViCare app. In addition to controlling the components, the Energy Management system combines online-connected devices such as Vitocal heat pumps and thermal hot water storage tanks as well as other consumers into a complete system. This provides the user with functional system management for optimal operation. In this way, many system components in the home can be controlled in a resource-saving and energy-efficient manner.
